Surrealism & Sci-Fi

This is a large and detailed painting rich in color of a distant world or time. The strange shapes the old rockets have given the land a look of the old southwest desert. If you notice on one side it looks hot where the light is and has ice where there is dark. That was inspired by painting it during the worst Texas drought in our history and the heat was so intense, I thought of a cool place to be ,so painted it into my painting while outside my studio window it was 110 degrees. It is oil on canvas and a favorite painting of mine. The old car is entering the cool side! Thanks for looking this one over.
